The manga series death note features an extensive cast of fictional characters designed by takeshi obata with their storylines created by tsugumi ohba. Whilst being a hardcore death note fan since the age of 17 my expectations for this particular film adaptation of tsugumi oba and takeshi obatas best selling manga series were very low to say.
